Accessibility
We want every calculator on DollarShuffle.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every input has a visible, programmatically associated label, and every calculator works with a keyboard alone.
- Charts have text alternatives: a description for screen readers, keyboard stepping through values, and the same figures in tables beside them.
- Color is never the only way information is shown, text meets contrast guidelines in light and dark modes, and pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling.
- We test pages with automated accessibility checks on every release.
Known limitations
Automated checks cannot catch everything, and we have not yet completed a full manual audit with assistive technology. Some long tables are easier to use after exporting them to a spreadsheet with the Export CSV button.
