1. Estimates, not advice

The calculators, articles and other content on the site are for general information and education. Results are estimates based on the information you enter, published rules and data, and simplifying assumptions described on each page. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, lending or insurance advice, and they are not an offer or commitment from any lender or financial institution.

Using the site does not create an advisory, fiduciary or professional relationship. Your situation may differ from the assumptions used. Before making financial decisions, consult a qualified professional, and check figures against official sources, your lender, your employer or your tax return.

No reliance. You agree that you will not rely on the site as the sole or primary basis for any financial, tax, legal or other decision, and that any decision you make is your own responsibility. Do not use the site's results to prepare or file a tax return or to set payroll withholding without verifying them against official instructions.

2. Accuracy and third-party data

We work to keep calculations accurate and current, and we describe our sources and checks on our methodology page. Tax laws, rates and program rules change, data sources can be delayed or revised, and errors can occur.

If a result looks wrong, please tell us through our contact page, with the page address and the inputs you used. We look into every report and correct the errors we confirm.

WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND ABOUT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS OR SUITABILITY OF ANY CALCULATOR, RESULT, RATE, DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION ON THE SITE, AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY OF IT IS CORRECT OR CURRENT FOR YOUR SITUATION.

Interest rates and other market figures shown on the site, such as average mortgage, credit card, savings and CD rates, are published averages from the sources named. They are not offers, quotes or rates you will receive, which depend on lenders and your own circumstances.

Some figures come from third parties, including Freddie Mac, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the FDIC, the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Treasury and other agencies. These sources are credited where used, do not endorse the site, and are not responsible for our use of their data. Primary Mortgage Market Survey is a registered trademark of Freddie Mac.

3. Using the site

You may use the site for your personal and internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape or harvest the site's content, calculators or data in bulk by automated means, or republish them as your own;
• interfere with or disrupt the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or introduce malicious code;
• show the site or any calculator inside a frame, or embed it in another website or app, without our written permission;
• send automated requests at a rate that slows the site down for other visitors;
• use the site in violation of any law or to mislead others about its results or our endorsement.

Sharing links to the site, including links that carry your calculator inputs, and quoting brief excerpts with attribution is welcome.

We may restrict, suspend or block access, with or without notice, for anyone who breaks these terms or uses the site in a way that harms it or other visitors.

4. Your information

Information you enter and files you import are processed in your browser. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, including analytics, and your choices.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, code and graphics are owned by Aidept Solutions, LLC or its licensors and protected by law. Except as allowed in section 3, you may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission. Government data used on the site remains in the public domain.

Feedback. If you send us corrections, suggestions or ideas, we may use them to improve the site without owing you anything for them. Please do not include confidential or personal financial details you would not want us to keep.

Copyright concerns. If you believe something on the site uses your copyrighted work without permission, email aj@aideptsolutions.com with the subject "Copyright", identify the work and the page where it appears, include your contact information, and state that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized. We will review the notice and respond, and remove material that infringes.

6. Links to other sites

The site links to government agencies and other websites for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, CALCULATORS, RESULTS AND DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY ERROR WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU USE THE SITE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIDEPT SOLUTIONS, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA OR OPPORTUNITY, OR ANY TAX, PENALTY, INTEREST OR FINANCIAL LOSS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE OR ANY RESULT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the site must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aidept Solutions, LLC from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act for section 11. Any claim not subject to arbitration under section 11 will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration and limits how you can seek relief.

Informal resolution first

Before starting arbitration or a court case, you and we each agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written description of the claim and the relief you want to aj@aideptsolutions.com (or, for claims we bring, we will write to the contact information we have for you). If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days after the notice is received, either party may proceed.

Agreement to arbitrate

Except as stated below, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the site or these terms, including their formation, scope or enforceability, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, available at adr.org. A single arbitrator will decide the dispute and may award the same individual relief a court could. Hearings may take place by video, by telephone, on written submissions, or in the county where you live. Payment of filing, administration and arbitrator fees will follow the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, which limit the fees a consumer pays.

Individual claims only

You and we may bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.

Exceptions

• Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies and stays there.
• Either party may seek court relief to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property, or unauthorized access to the site.
• Requests for public injunctive relief, where applicable law does not allow them to be waived, will be decided by a court after any individual claims are arbitrated, and that court case will be paused until the arbitration ends.

Opting out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing aj@aideptsolutions.com within 30 days after you first use the site, with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and your name. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

If part of this section is unenforceable

If the class and representative proceedings waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided in court and not in arbitration. If any other part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This section survives the end of your use of the site.

12. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept it. A change to section 11 will not apply to a dispute we already had notice of before the change. We may change or discontinue any part of the site at any time. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
